Antique pillar was restored and faux painted in a Verde Di Mare finish

Faux-painted baluster, railing, base and post in a black marble finish

Pillar, spindles, baseboard and inside panels of door were faux-marbled. A complementary stripe was painted beneath the chair rail.

Faux leather finish on walls, with hand-painted faux Portoro finish on chair rail, baseboard, and windowsills.

Crown molding painted in a faux Verde Di Genoa finish.

Woodwork, casings, doors, bookcases and fireplace surround were faux-painted with a custom marble finish to match the library's wallpaper. Inside panels of doors were stenciled with a beautiful scroll design.
